Who We Are

UZIMA is a specialized global health technical assistance firm founded by former World Health Organization (WHO) experts and senior public health practitioners with decades of frontline experience across Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.

We are not a traditional consultancy. We operate as a curated network of senior experts — seasoned professionals who have led national programmes, managed donor-funded grants, and advised governments at the highest levels across multiple regions and disease areas.

Our name — uzima — means health and wholeness in Kiswahili. It reflects our conviction that sustainable health outcomes require integrated, systems-wide thinking, not fragmented, disease-specific responses.
